So the soldiers took charge of Jesus.
Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place called the Skull. Here they
crucified him, and with him two others – one on each side and Jesus in the
middle. John 19:17-18
To remember and reflect
And anyone who does not take his cross
and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and
whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Matthew 10:38-39
